Greening the City worked with an interdisciplinary team at the University of Toronto to design user interfaces that would trigger environmental behaviour- here reduced energy use in university residences. Project was federally-funded (Social Sciences and Research Council, Canada). Key tasks included:
- Critical literature review of community-based social marketing (CBSM) for environmental behaviour change
- Integration of environmental psychology and critical social theory on attitudes and values around nature to develop visual imagery for energy use dashboard
- Collaboration with computer modeling, philosophers, environmental behaviour and sustainability disciplines.
