by Greening the City is working with Two Forks Collective on community outreach and surveys for Boulder Urban Forestry. The community outreach will inform Two Forks Collective’s marketing and outreach for the upcoming Urban Forest Strategic Plan (UFSP) (prepared by Davey). Key activities include:
- Strategic planning and coordination with Boulder Urban Forestry and Davey
- Development, implementation, and analysis of short and long community survey. Key themes include values, perceptions, and knowledge around urban nature and the urban forest to highlight potential barriers and opportunities for community support and involvement around the UFSP
- Input on themes and methods for public outreach and marketing
Boulder is a Rockerfeller recipient of the 100 Resilient Cities award, and the UFSP will play an integral part of Boulder’s holistic approach to resilience.
